DR FIONA SHEDDEN

*Dr Fiona Shedden is registered as a Clinical Psychologist in the UK who is undergoing her transition program with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Fiona has over 10 years’ experience working across community and inpatient settings in the UK. She supports children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions.

Fiona has a particular strength in working with children and young people, and values collaborating with parents and caregivers to support positive change both within and beyond the therapy room. She also has experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability and neurodivergent presentations, including ADHD and Autism, and conducts ADHD assessments with children and adolescents.

Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed, attachment-focused frameworks, Fiona tailors therapy to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals. She has a strong interest in building emotional regulation skills as a foundation for long-term wellbeing.

Fiona is known for her warm, thoughtful, and down-to-earth approach. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.

Raj Dhanoa
Registered Psychologist

Raj Dhanoa is a Registered Psychologist who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, low mood, burnout, relationship difficulties and major life transitions. Known for his warm, down-to-earth and approachable style, Raj creates a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood and supported without judgement.

Raj has a particular interest in men’s mental health and enjoys helping clients develop practical strategies, gain insight and create meaningful change. He believes strong therapeutic relationships built on trust and collaboration are central to effective therapy.

Drawing from a trauma-informed and evidence-based approach, Raj integrates therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies and strengths-focused interventions. He tailors therapy to each individual’s needs, recognising that no two people or experiences are the same and works alongside clients to build resilience and confidence.

Raj completed his Master of Professional Psychology and Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) through Western Sydney University and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Raj is available from our St Marys clinic and accepts Medicare, Private, NDIS and Workers Compensation referrals.

Ayesha Riaz is a passionate mental health practitioner known for her warm, attentive style and ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely understood and respected.

She draws on a range of evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, and a holistic, recovery-oriented approach.

Clients often seek Ayesha’s support when navigating perfectionism, burnout, life transitions, relationship dynamics, and maintaining wellbeing in demanding roles—whether in work, family, study, or caregiving. With over eight years’ experience in the disability and NDIS sector, Ayesha also supports individuals with psychosocial disability and those transitioning toward greater independence, work, or study.

Ayesha is committed to trauma-informed care, ensuring that her approach is sensitive to the impact of past experiences, and is supportive of culturally sensitive and inclusive practice.

She is available for appointments at our St Marys practise, and accepts Medicare, private, Workers Compensation, and NDIS (self-managed and plan-managed) referrals.

 

ADAM DOUMIT

Adam has a calm and client-centred approach, creating a safe and respectful environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their goals. His work is guided by each person’s lived experience, and he is committed to delivering culturally responsive care that respects individual backgrounds, identities, and worldviews.

Adam has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including those with acquired brain injury, psychosocial disability, and neurodevelopmental conditions. He has also contributed to psychological research in his field.

Adam has a calm and client-centred approach, creating a safe and respectful environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their goals. His work is guided by each person’s lived experience, and he is committed to delivering culturally responsive care that respects individual backgrounds, identities, and worldviews.

Adam incorporates evidence-based modalities CBT and ACT into his practise, and has a strong interest in Compassion-Focused Therapy and person-centred interventions grounded in humanistic psychology. He is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop self-compassion, gain insight, and take meaningful steps toward improved wellbeing and personal growth.

Adam works from our St Marys Practice, and welcomes referrals through Private, NDIS and Medicare referral sources ( note all appointments with provisional psychologists are billed without Medicare rebates).

MITCH O’BRIEN

Mitch is a Clinical Psychologist and Business Director with a warm, practical approach to therapy. He works primarily with adults who are proactively addressing concerns with anxiety, stress, and depression. Mitch also has a particular interest in providing executive, life, and career coaching, drawing on his background in business to help clients navigate professional and personal development.

He utilises a flexible, evidence-based approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems, and skills training. Mitch is a fully endorsed Clinical Psychologist and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.

Mitch is available for appointments at our Penrith and Rouse Hill clinics, and welcomes referrals through Medicare, BUPA and Private pathways.

Natalie SAWTSCHEK
REGISTERED Psychologist

Natalie is a warm, experienced, and collaborative Psychologist who brings more than 20 years of clinical, managerial, and community-based experience to her work. She is passionate about supporting individuals to overcome challenges, build resilience, and move toward healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Natalie’s background includes managing multidisciplinary teams, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, leading men’s behaviour change programs, and supporting clients with complex psychological, social, and vocational needs.

She is skilled in working with adults presenting with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma histories, life transitions, and psychosocial barriers. Natalie draws on a range of evidence-based, therapeutic modalities and brings a calm, respectful, and non-judgemental approach to every session.

Clients appreciate Natalie’s compassion, and her ability to understand challenges in a broader life context.

Bailey brings a warm, approachable style to his work with clients. He is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where individuals feel heard and empowered to work toward meaningful positive change.

Bailey uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies to support clients in managing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. He is particularly interested in helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, and life transitions.

Bailey holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is a member of the College of Professional Psychology and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). In addition to his work in private practise, his experience includes providing short-term crisis support with Lifeline Australia, as well as assisting individuals through workplace rehabilitation and Workers Compensation processes.

Bailey consults from both our St Marys clinic Tuesdays through to Fridays, and welcomes referrals through Medicare, private and NDIS (self managed or planned).

Wame is a registered psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Newcastle and a Master of Professional Psychology from Deakin University. She is dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for adults to process challenging life experiences with compassion and respect. Wame tailors evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a warm and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Her areas of interest include trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, relationship challenges, workplace issues, and life transitions. With a commitment to empowering her clients, Wame guides them on their journey toward healing and personal growth.

Wame is a member of the APS and works at our St Marys and Penrith practices. She welcomes referrals from Medicare, Work Cover and Private referral pathways.

Rohan is a Relationship Coach who brings warmth, wisdom, and a calming presence to his work with couples. Known for his approachable and compassionate style, Rohan instantly helps people feel safe to share openly and work through life’s challenges together.

Rohan is Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a world-renowned, evidence-based approach developed from over 40 years of research. The Gottman Method gives couples practical tools to strengthen communication, build connection, and manage conflict in a way that deepens trust and respect.

Drawing on this proven framework, Rohan helps couples at all stages of their relationship—whether navigating communication difficulties, rebuilding after setbacks, or wanting to strengthen an already solid foundation. His work is grounded in the belief that every couple has strengths to build on, and that meaningful change is possible when both partners feel heard and supported.

Rohan offers appointment times via online sessions on both Mondays and Thursdays from 12:30-7:30pm, making it easier for couples to access support at times that suit their busy lives.

 

NICOLA RICH

Nicola is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. She has a calm, thoughtful, and practical approach, and is committed to working collaboratively with her clients to help them achieve meaningful change.

Nicola draws on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy. She has particular interest and experience in treating depression, panic disorder, sleep difficulties, social anxiety, and trauma.

Nicola has facilitated programs such as the “Cool Kids” anxiety program and the Chronic Pain group for the Hawkesbury Hills Division of GPs.

Nicola offers therapy exclusively via telehealth (video or phone), making her accessible to clients across Australia from the convenience of their home or work. She accepts referrals under Medicare, private arrangements, and is an approved provider for DVA, NDIS, and Work Cover arrangements.
